Every mainstream religion was spread throughout an empire. For Christianity it was the Roman empire, Islam for Islamic empire, for Buddhism it was India’s first unified nation the Maurya Dynasty, Ashoka’s empire.
Therefore, in order to justify the empire’s domination all mainstream religion retains a sort of logic for an oligarchical reign. For this reason independant communities became disgusted towards the institutional church.
Sovereignty has been approached as divine and sacred throughout Europe and slowly established with the spread of Christianity. The king’s system is simply wicked. The kings, nobles, and priests who have fallen for the fundamental spirit of God and Bible not only justify their plunder but call that a divine order from God. [1 Samuel 8:18]
To escape from this sort of king’s system, one must leave the mainstream church or in other words the system of plunder ruled by dogma. This may be the process of self denial.
